When a woman gives birth, she does not only deliver a baby, she gives birth to a new life entirely and a new identity for herself within it. This can be all-consuming and you can easily lose touch with your pre-baby self. One of the challenges in motherhood is often the total focus on the child and not a lot left for you - you are fundamentally the same person you were prior to becoming a mum, yet suddenly everything has changed. The realisation that you are a mother - really, truly and forever - will surely make any woman ask herself what kind of person she wants to be reflected in her child's eyes, and can trigger self reflection about who you are or who you want to become. This huge turning point in your life can also be a real opportunity for change and scoping out the life of your dreams around your family and in total congruence with who you are and what you want from your life now.

What would your life look like if you wholeheartedly believed your could be both a great mum and an inspirational woman making a difference in the world? What would you do if you dared to follow your dreams and prove that you could have it all?  If there are days when you feel like you have lost yourself amid the nappies and weaning books, and would like to take some time out for you to rediscover yourself and redefine where you fit in the bigger picture of your life now, then this programme is perfect for you!

Coaching sessions provide the luxury of dedicated time and space to reconnect with yourself and focus on you.  I will help you to:

  • Assess your life now and identify what is really important to you and what you want for the future

  • Examine your self image and the impact that becoming a Mum has had on it

  • Help you to recognise and break down the personal barriers, fears, limiting beliefs, self doubt and criticism that do not serve you

  • Learn how to control your emotions (even if you haven’t slept properly for weeks) and embrace this time of enormous change.

  • Find your own way to cope with the most common challenges all new mums face like feeling isolated, overwhelmed or stressed.

  • Uncover your answers to the big question like “Should I go back to work?”, “Should we use the Cry It Out Method?”, “When is the right time to stop breastfeeding?” and “How am I going to lose this baby weight".

  • Find a way to balance being a Mum alongside all the other roles and relationships your life encompasses.

"Nothing has a stronger influence psychologically on their environment and especially on their children than the unlived life of the parent"   —Carl Gustav Jung

Simply put, the greatest gift any parent can bestow upon their children is to be a happy, fulfilled whole person in their own right because in doing so you simultaneously set your child free to grow up to be themselves too!
